Every Saturday morning from 8am to 1pm, the Chartres Market is a lively affair!

  • Do you like fish? Go straight to La Cabane du Pêcheur stand (at the back of the market) and choose from the fish on offer. The cod brandade is also excellent.
  • Charcuterie? Go to the little stand L’Authentique du Bois d’Aret. Its ham on the bone is exquisite, as are its rillons and its Pâté de Chartres.
  • Fruit and vegetables? There are plenty of stands under the covered market, some of them organic.
